We placed a curbside order a week in advance for Mother’s Day dinner. When we got there, they told us they were running behind and it would be 5-10 minutes, which is fine. Except that it ended up taking a full hour past our pickup time, and we couldn’t even get a call through to the restaurant for about 40 minutes. When they finally had the food ready (an hour late), the staff snapped at us for coming up to the door and trying to ask them about it (which they told us to do). Super late with no warning or updates, terrible customer service, and thirty other people waiting who hadn’t received their food.

The hostess told me We would be seated between 30 and 40 minutes an hour later we still haven't Got Seated we ended up leaving an 1 and 20 minutes later!

I really enjoyed my experience dining here. We were there for my mother's birthday and they went above and beyond. The waitress Alexander was great! She was kind and cater to our needs. Great place to dine with family,friends, or a significant other.

Very unique experience. Our cook Mario was awesome. Food was cooked perfectly. Family really enjoyed our time.

Surprised to sit with strangers around a Teppanyaki table. Waiting for food to be cooked was taking a little too long. Good value for money.

I had a reservations for 9:30 and now it’s 9:55 and I haven’t got called up yet , and it’s only for two people , As i am sitting here waiting , already three people have come up and complained about a worker , which you guys sent home , what’s the point of a reservation? The same thing happen last year on September 7 2019 I had a reservation for a birthday and you guys still had us waiting , which that day I just left and went too LALAs 13 mins away because you guys took so long , which I am so close to doing again right now .... have a good day

Yet another birthday party. October is big in our family. 12 people, a private area. The service was good and attentive. The manager was very helpful planing the party. The food was very good. One glitch...someone turned off 2 pots and it took a long time for them to warm up to cook the entrees.

Jenna was our server. Very nice and good service. Miguel was our chef. Outstanding performance and very cool knife tricks. Good food all around. Fried rice suggested. 🍱 thanks

When you come to this place you better have an appetite otherwise it's really not worth it.I enjoyed my meal and it was really happy to see the use of oil over butter on the grill.Remember to come fully dressed with a smile as this type of dining atmosphere is much better enjoyed when all members of the table are sociable and more interested and watching the chef than they are in scrolling on their phones.

Food is always good, and the chefs are impressive! I was somewhat disappointed in the other waiters/waitresses. It was hard to get dishes picked up once finished, and it was almost impossible to order another drink from the bar. Nobody ever came back to check on you.

Love this place... our chef was funny and our food was excellent. Enjoyed a spontaneous midweek dinner with my wife!

Food was great. Environment is nice and clean. Will come back again. Our chef Arturo and Server John were great. Probably the best I've had in a while.

The Atmosphere was beautiful. However the meat was not tender as I would have liked. Steak and Chicken dry and hard to eat

This place is no doubt one of the most pleasant place in the neighborhood. Every time I visit this place I am deeply satisfied. They hold their very high level service and the topmost level of food they provide. You surely will enjoy this this place. Very recommended.

I booked through open table app, advised that I had a 6th person coming and instead they set my family with a couple who were very friendly, but they were new parents and wanted privacy. Then my husband showed up with no place to sit

As usual, you make a reservation and don’t get seated for 45 minutes. No big deal, we had a drink at the bar. We passed the time by talking about how much we were looking forward to the food and especially the veggies they cook. We got seated and ordered. It has been about a year since we have been to Benihana, but when did they take the portion size on the entrees down? We were served finely chopped onions as our veggies, there was no zucchini or sprouts. The mushrooms did not come until the end of the meal. I have, in the past, been able to take half of my entree home for the next day because the portions were so large. That did not happen, I was served four colossal shrimp, a small lobster tail and four scallops along with my minced onions. Oh and I did not get the mushrooms while everybody else did. For $50 a plate, the wait and the smaller portions, I doubt we will be back.

Came here for Valentine's Day; apparently so did the rest of the valley. With a reservation we waited over an hour. The biggest problem was that they COMPLETELY overbooked their reservations. The waiting area and bar was standing room only, and it was shoulder to shoulder. Definitely not a comfortable way to spend an hour. The host staff did their best to manage what they could so I would give them five stars. The food was pretty much what I expected, however I guess I don't remember it being so expensive. I understand what goes in to it, and it's on me for not price checking in advance, so no big deal there. All in all, for what it was, I personally wouldn't come back. The price just does not match the overall flavor and quality. You're paying for the show, but even then, it's fairly underwhelming. Meh 🤷I guess it's not for me.

Certainly a spot worth visiting, the food is fantastic and well prepared, the costs are convenient and it is always well organized here. Keep up the good work.

Waited over an hour for a curbside pickup order placed a week in advance. Was initially told it would only be 10 minutes late, which is fine, but that turned into an hour and I couldn’t even get through to staff via phone. On top of that, the staff bringing out orders had an awful attitude and was not properly enforcing social distancing rules. For the amount paid and the lack of consideration, it was definitely not worth it. Food was just okay...

The food was really good but it was a day after Valentine's day and even with reservations that was at 6:30 PM, we ended up being seated till 9:00 PM than they sat us around the cook's table with too many people and barely had enough room to move bumping elbows with strangers. Still had to wait 30 minutes for the cook to start cooking in total we had to wait 3 hours with a reservation. So if you're ready to be cramped with strangers and wait about 3 hours till you actually get some food in you than go ahead, be their guest. 3 stars for food and none for comfort or fast service.

I had a great time yesterday for my birthday dinner. It was extremely busy so I probably wouldn't go on a Saturday again. Like ever the wait was very long about 40 min more than my scheduled dinner. But the food was great

The food was great I really enjoyed my experience. What made it even more spectacular was our waiter a young man named Jefferey. My kids enjoyed him, my husband and I adored him. When ever I come back I will most definitely request his section... the best service I ever had

First time, I am here for dinner with friends. We had reservation but waited over an hour until cooker gets to our table. However, we still had great vibes and good time up until one of my friends margarita class had broken with 2 lines of crack. Manager come over but and changed their drink but they still have charged for her drink.

The food is always good but my server was very rude and took forever to bring anything out also was making faces everytime we asked him for something. I still will be returning because the food is delicious.

Always an interesting and entertaining experience. As a couple, we sat with a family with children and it was magical to watch their faces during the chief's performance. Even though we had reservations, we still waited 20 minutes to be seated.

Took my son here for his birthday.The entire experience was Amazing!! to the bartender, who was very knowledgeable about both food And drinks, to the server John and the chef Jose, who really made our day special. I can't say enough good things about this place.There were 5 of us. We sat at the grill. Dining room seating is also available. One of us got sushi, I got a meal from the kitchen, and 3 of us got food cooked at the table. We all loved our food! I got the shrimp with white rice, mixed veggies, salad with edamame for an appetizer, which was the best I've ever had.Jose and John were absolutely fabulous, they were very entertaining with jokes and smiles. They brought out ice cream for the birthday.Thanks guys!

Food and entertainment is always consistent. Have been celebrating family birthdays for 3 generations from Beverly Hills to Encino since the 1980's. Lunch or dinner never disappointed and have enjoyed the diversity with the chefs. Great job!!

OMG. Valentine's weekend. They "lost" my reservation. Our server was terrible. Understood very little English. Was not audible and you know it's loud there. She messed up everyone order. And to make everything horrible they have reduced portion sizes to save money. I got scallops and steak. I got 3 scallops and 4oz of steak. $50. Never again.

I absolutely love Benihana but this location can be cleaned a little better than what it is. The staff do not do a thorough job cleaning after customers have left. Other than this, I have no complaints about the food.

This place has great food and an overall great experience. We love the splash n meadow, Chicken Fried Rice, and the ginger sauce. They also have great costumer solving skills. We ordered online, received the wrong order through delivery but Mike helped make everything right and really took care of us. Thank you Mike! We will definitely be ordering again!

Excellent Japanese BBQ

1st time coming here it was a great experience. I like the food and the margaritas. They treat us great.

Great Japanesse menu. I imagined it was going to be the same decor and elegance from the one in Las Vegas. Even we had a reservation, they made us wait one hour to assign seats. Delicious food, very well cooked but too crowded and extremely noisy.

great experience, our CHEF JOHN kept us laughing the entire time ! jokes after jokes and kept smiles on our faces. was my moms first time and CHEF JOHN made it ten times better for my mom ! I NEVER LEAVE REVIEWS BUT WHEN I DO ITS BECAUSE OF CHEF JOHN! THANK YOU CHEF JOHN 💕

Service was not as good as I had expected. It felt they tried to rush you out to get people in. They were literally standing around us waiting for us to get up and leave. Food on the other hand was tasty. I would recommend eating at a different location.

Entertaining and yummy. They have a happy hour too by the bar from 4 to 7. Sang me happy birthday. The sushi was awesome

Way to crowded. Not Very clean. Made reservations and still waited over an hour. Tables are way to close to each other. I wouldn't be surprised if someone got hurt it's if it's a fire danger. The chefs though r very nice

I just dined here on my birthday 12/08/2019. It's always an awesome experience! I love the atmosphere and also the chiefs! It's a valet parking thing, so make sure you have $5.50 for them. We like to arive about an hour early and have some drinks at the bar before dinner. The bartenders are friendly and pour generously! I'll be there again next year!

Benihana's is always a blast! Had a great meal and good company at our table. A good night was had by all. Food was good, add usual, drinks were better ;)

With a reservation, we still had to wait an additional 30 mins to be seated. Then it was an additional 30 minute before the chef arrived. Everything looked a little run down. The staff did a great job, but it felt like they were run down as well. The overall impression was that the owners just stopped caring. The food was good, minus the excessive addition of garlic butter. I love garlic butter, but there's a limit. They even allowed a non service pet into the restaurant, which wasn't expected in an enclosed restaurant. There was just a lack of overall class to the whole experience.
